Besides the Lusitano breed, Maria D'ANDRADE de Oliveira e Sousa also breeds Sorraia and Haflinger horses .
Sorraias
Autochthone breed of southern Iberia that survived in the wild. These horses are the primary ancestors to many other breeds, such as the Lusitano Pure Blood, but its reduced number is nowhere near a number that would ensure its survival, and end the threat of extinction.
Haflingers
The Haflinger is a native breed from Austria, from the Tyrolean area of the Alps, whose strong constitution and uncomplicated personality make this horse ideal for both riding and driving.
